S Sorcerer (AoE farm engine) · Priest (DLC, makes Torment trivial)
A Ranger (steady single-target) · Hunter (DLC, sustained + traps)
B Knight (safe early tank) · Slayer (DLC, high burst, fragile)
C Any solo-DPS party with no sustain past Hell difficulty.

Why Sorcerer is S: idle farming is about clearing waves fast. Area damage clears whole packs, which beats single-target in raw gold/XP per minute.

- Barely. AoE and sustain win in both, because the game is auto-battle either way.
